If the customer buys jewelry, hereinafter referred to as goods offered on the Korola website, via the Internet, such a mutual contract is considered a distance contract and is subject to the provisions on distance contracts, as well as European Parliament and Council Directive 97/7/ EEC on consumer protection in relation to distance contracts, the “Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights” of the Republic of Latvia and the “Regulations on Distance Contracts” of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia.

5.Ordering and payment
Once you have selected the items you want to buy and click “Confirm order”, you will need to pay for the order. After the payment of the order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can make payments in the online store with a payment card, a PayPal account or a Korola digital gift card. With a gift card, you can pay for purchases several times, as long as there is a positive balance on it. Payment for purchases can only be made with a Korola digital gift card. If your order exceeds the value of the gift card, you can pay the difference with a payment card or PayPal account. When paying for a purchase with a gift card, free delivery to DPD parcels is provided only in cases where the difference in the amount is not less than 49eur. It may happen that we will not be able to clarify your order, so we apologize in advance for the inconvenience, but we will try to do our best to help you. 6.Refusal of an order
If you have placed an order on the Korola website, but for reasons known to you, you want to cancel the order, you must immediately notify us in writing to [email protected] or by phone – +371 26115592 (call only on working days 10:00-17:00). If the order has already been sent out, then the rule for returning the goods came into force (see Section 10 of these rules on Returning Goods). The amount paid for delivery and for the return of the product is not returned. But if the order has not yet been shipped, you will be refunded the full amount that you have paid within 10 (ten) working days from the moment we have contacted you and confirmed that we have received your wish to cancel the order.
8.Applying to email
If you have chosen to receive emails from Korola, we will offer you extensive information about sales, new collections, special offers and other news from Korola. The e-mail address you provided when registering in the Korola online store will only be used by our company to send you the latest information. We respect your right to privacy and will not share your email address with other companies. If you want to opt out of receiving Korola news, you can do so in the e-mail we have sent you. At the very bottom of the e-mail, there will be the words “Unsubscribe from news”, by clicking on them, you will have refused to receive further news.
We offer you a wide choice of delivery within Latvia, which is provided by DPD and Omniva. We send orders abroad through VAS “Latvijas Pasts” (shipments are sent out on Fridays). We send parcel packages every working day. Individual pieces of jewelry are made to order, so shipping may be delayed by one business day. Please note that orders are not shipped on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays of the Republic of Latvia. During sales, shipping can take up to 5 business days. The order will be delivered to the address you specified when registering on the Korola website. We try to be fair and send orders on time, but please be understanding if the order is delayed for various reasons. There can be additional duties and taxes applied upon reciept of your shipment. These duties and taxes are to be paid by the recipient. Korola is not required to inform customers of such additional costs and is not required to refund such costs to customer.
10.Return of goods
The Korola team strives to satisfy every buyer’s wishes and will do everything to make returns exceptional. If you still want to cancel your purchase, you must notify us about returning the product by e-mail to [email protected] within 14 working days from the moment of receiving the product. After sending the notification, you must send the product back in exactly the same condition and original packaging as you received it. If the package/product was damaged during shipping, you must report it to us within 2 (two) working days from the moment of receipt by e-mail at [email protected]. If we do not receive this information within 2 (two) working days, the complaint will not be accepted. Damaged, used, laundered items will not be refunded. The product must be in exactly the same condition as it was at the time of dispatch. All return shipping costs are borne by the customer and the customer assumes full responsibility for the item while it is being returned. Upon receipt of the returned item, we evaluate it to see if it is damaged, torn, worn, washed or otherwise deformed. If the returned item is in exactly the same condition as it was at the time of dispatch, we will refund the amount for which the item was purchased. We make the money transfer back to your account within 10 (ten) working days from the moment we have received the returned product. If the order was paid with a gift card, you will be given a new gift card with the amount you had, as well as the overpaid amount will be returned if it was paid within 10 (ten) working days. Shipping is non-refundable. We do not accept individual orders back or refund their value.
If you want to return the product, please fill out the return form ( WORD format ; PDF format). You can fill out the form electronically by sending it to the e-mail address [email protected]. If you fill out the form in printed form, it must be included when returning the product. We recommend that you keep the shipping documents of the returned item until we have received the item back.
If you want to return a product, the purchase of which provided you with a gift (for example, you received a gift for a certain purchase amount or the purchase of a certain product), you must also return the received gift. If you chose not to return the gift, its value will be deducted from the amount returned.
Korola jewelry should be stored in a dry and dark place. Jewelry and crystals should be periodically cleaned with a dry cloth, this will allow the original shine of the product to be preserved. The English clasp earrings are locked in place if you hear a click. Contact of the products with any liquid (water, drinks, detergents, etc.) as well as creams should be avoided. Chains can leave dark marks in contact with skin, perfume or body lotion. Do not forget that jewelry is the last accent in your image and should only be put on after using perfume or hairspray. Remove jewelry when going to the sauna, shower, pool or swimming. For gold-plated jewelry, discoloration is not considered a manufacturing defect. To prevent knots from forming in the chains, it is preferable to store them closed.
For each product, the Korola company gives a two-year warranty from the date of purchase, provided that the above-mentioned care and storage rules are followed. With such a guarantee, the product will be repaired or, at the discretion of the Korola company, replaced with a new identical or other product of equal value. Korola warranty does not apply to products that, in Korola judgment, have been damaged as a result of improper use or as a result of unsuccessful repairs performed by the purchaser.
Korola is not responsible for any other damage caused by the use of Korola products.
Upon receiving the product, the Korola company will evaluate the compliance of the product with the terms of the warranty. The answer to the decision will be given within 10 days after receiving the goods. If the product is defective as a result of improper use by the customer, the warranty is void, repair and delivery costs are covered by the customer.
Disputes between the Parties are considered by mutual agreement between the Parties, but if it is not possible to reach an agreement between the Parties, the dispute shall be considered in the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia.
